Provides adjunct professor services to Haskell Indian Nations University



Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):


Meets with academic department chair to develop course-ware and curriculum.

Present prepared materials and supervises organized activities

Evaluate student performance promptly and accurately based on departmental metric standards

Coordinate with the college or university bookstore in order to ensure class material availability

Maintain records of student attendance, involvement, and progress.

Teach assigned class material in accordance with learning objectives that are developed by the department

Communicate with students outside of class to provide supplementary instruction, when necessary

Participate in faculty meetings involving departmental updates.

Serve on faculty panels

Make copies of supplementary materials for distribution in class


Survey students in order to obtain information about their wants and needs in certain courses



No supervisory responsibilities


Master’s Degree in field of study relative to open courses

A master’s degree in a closely related field is required

Demonstrate excellent communication skills; both oral and written

Exhibit a commitment to promoting academic excellence in students

Ability to positively motivate others

Has excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills that promotes results.

Demonstrates a high level of self-discipline and self-motivation.

Exudes a positive, supportive, and cooperative disposition toward others.

Punctual and detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to be goal oriented and task driven

Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background investigation


  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to teach required materials to HINU students with a high rate of retention
