The Executive Assistant shall provide senior-level executive administrative support to assist with various administrative tasks for our client.  The Executive Assistant shall possess experience in acquisition and business operations support services, be familiar with government policies and procedures, and possess excellent communication and time management skills.


Includes the following:

  • Coordinate administrative and program functions within the office and the command
  • Update Databases used to track various office and command functions
  • Schedule appointments and reserve conference rooms
  • Answering telephones and greeting visitors
  • Preparing correspondence, distributing documents to required personnel
  • Preparation of recurring and non-recurring reports
  • Coordinating and organizing meetings including travel for senior executives


  • This position has no supervisory or management authority


  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant for senior personnel supporting a high tempo multi-faceted organization
  • Must have experience and proficiency with the Defense Travel System
  • Some experience interpreting regulatory guidance will be required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities


  • Expert knowledge and proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)
  • Some background in government acquisition processes and some knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, AFARS, and other DoD procurement regulations and policies
  • Ability to type 50 words per minute minimum
  • Knowledge of office machines in order to print, scan, and fax documents
  • Must be proficient in Customer Service skills including responding to inquiries from all levels of the command and from higher-level commands
  • Must be proficient in database entry and updating
  • Must possess excellent proof-reading skills and have exceptional attention to detail


  • Work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • May require occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
