CNSP is looking for an Administrative Assistant I who is responsible for, but not limited to, supporting Dept. Of State designated offices by providing an array of clerical, administrative and office support duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive visitors and direct them accordingly
  • Answer/screen phone calls in a professional demeanor
  • Provide travel support;
  • Perform correspondence review and document management;
  • Coordinate meetings and schedule support
  • Assist Human resources, logistics and assigned executives
  • Provide back-up support to the front Desk when needed as well as database support
  • intelligence agencies

Supervisory/Management Authority: 

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have an Associates’ Degree
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a highly visible office support / administrative position
  • Four years of direct experience in an office support setting can be substituted for an Associate’s

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have an ACTIVE  SECRET clearance
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
  • Must be proficient in current Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint programs
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check

Work Environment:

  • This position is performed in a secured federal office setting
