Job Description:

We are looking for an Applications Contents Manager III to help support the efforts at the National Park Service (NPS). 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Deliverables):

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Develop and support site governance processes
  • Create and configure SharePoint site for users
  • Create security groups and maintain security for SharePoint sites
  • Document, track and respond to user requests for help including error reports and questions about functionality
  • Provide formal training and informal coaching to Site Administrators, Power Users and End Users
  • Other SharePoint application administration tasks as required
  • Assist and monitor scheduled video conference calls
  • Participate on NPS IT video conferencing team
  • Review design and construction documents for quality assurance, historic preservation standards and code compliance for accessibility laws
  • Follow up review on documents returned to vendors for correction to verify that corrections have been made
  • Performs other job related duties as required

 

Supervisory/Management Authority:

This position does not have management authority or supervisory capacity

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
  • 10 plus years of experience with SharePoint sites

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  (example: specific software, soft skills, etc. – This gets deleted)

  • Experienced with HTML and SharePoint Designer
  • Ability to develop use and create InfoPath 2010 forms

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This position is primarily performed in an office environment on a secure Federal facility. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
