SUMMARY
 

Budget Analyst III (BA)

Candidate should be responsible for public sector finance and budgeting , funds tracking, assisting with budgetary projections, and the administration of interagency budgetary agreements and documentation.This individual should have the ability to organize, create, review and analyze financial documents. Must be able to research and provide technical reports and oral briefings and may also assist in contract management and review, as well as other tasks as assigned.

 

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors with 2 years of experience. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Budget Analyst III: is a mid-level position with adequate knowledge of budget processes and/or contract management and other relevant standard financial management qualifications.
  • The BA III candidate will be able to demonstrate interpersonal, data management, reporting, writing, strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • The candidate should have some knowledge of U.S. Government budget operations, regulations , and policies. The BA III candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, time management skills, and strategic thinking.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be conducted in a climate controlled office environment.
