SUMMARY

Support business transformation efforts of G-8, G-4 and ASA (FM&C) to achieve readiness at best value through increased effectiveness and efficiency, reduced costs, and maximized use of limited resources. This position is focused on the data and data relationships between the process, systems and information elements to ensure a consistent understanding of the information value chain from start to finish (end to end).

This role supports the team by documenting, meetings, sessions and engagements from various organizations. The position helps translate processes into relational elements to build supporting products that accurately reflect the team’s (government team) understanding of the process, systems and capabilities under review. The integration occurs through the use of tools and associated meta data within the tools to create views, models and outline performance of those processes and process interactions. The Army requires several tools to capture and build data content towards the enterprise architecture and decisions that are supported by those processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

Business System Integration and Solution Specialist I applies their strong, analytical and technical skills to assist in implementing business solutions.

Perform such tasks as:

  • Document an organization’s current business process flows.
  • Design and implement new organization structures.
  • Design, code and test functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
  • Identify and document functional requirements for information systems.
  • Develop project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
  • Conceptual design and development of training curricula.
  • Produce database extracts.
  • Provide technical support to software development teams.
  • Perform program management support tasks to include status reporting and work plan maintenance and executing project budgets.
  • Other contributing activities as required

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • None

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years business experience in information systems implementation, change management or business process design.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Candidate shall possess and be able to maintain a SECRET facility clearance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work will be performed primarily in a climate controlled office environment.
  • May require occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
