Provide case processing and other operational support services, not designated as inherently Governmental or critical functions that must be performed by a Government official, to facilitate the timely and effective processing of employer applications for temporary labor condition and certification.


Includes the following:

  • Review incoming applications.
  • Assess employer filings and supporting documentation against applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct integrity reviews (i.e., audits, supervised recruitment, etc.)
  • Perform employer existence/verification and sponsorship checks.
  • Conduct prevailing wage determinations, develop and prepare case file documentation for administrative appeal processes.
  • Draft official correspondence.
  • Maintain administrative case files.
  • Provide recommendations to the certifying officer regarding the merits of the applications process of all incoming and outgoing mail data.
  • Enter mailed in application process and track applications assigned for case review or audit examination, appeals to the Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals (BALCA).
  • Prepare and issue official correspondence (whether physical or electronic).
  • Perform all other activities associated with organizing, scanning, maintaining, and disposing of all application case file documentation (whether physical or electronic) from the point-of-filing to the final adjudicatory decision (including appeals, audit examinations, or other program integrity actions) issued by the Government.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.


No supervisory or management authority.


BS/BA in Finance or Business is desired but not mandatory and 3 years of related experience.


Work is normally performed in a hospital environment, with long periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
