SUMMARY

The Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC’s missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a broad range technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects at Cannon AFB to include:

  • Review of statements of work, cost estimates, submittals, and request for information.
  • Participation in on-site construction meetings and construction site inspections.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction industry experience
  • An additional 6 years of construction industry experience can be substituted for a Bachelors

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) design and construction policies and standards
  • Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering MILCON and Facility Sustainment, Repair, Modernization programs
  • Experience managing database systems ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
