Construction Project Manager, Portsmouth, NH (ID#12667)

The Department of State, Bureau of Administration, Office of Operations, Office of Facilities Management Services (A/OPR/FMS) is seeking support staff to provide Facilities, Administrative, and General Office Support to various field offices.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and accomplish goals, focus on the coordination and oversight of projects (typically between the tenant federal agency and the onsite operations and maintenance contractor)
• Prepare independent government estimates (IGE)
• Monitor and inspect the work in progress to assure that work is being performed as planned and in compliance with contract specifications, safety regulations, and all applicable building codes and standards
• Coordinate projects from inception to close out and update project progress activities in CMMS (Maximo)
• Provide overall administration and coordination of design and construction activities of both smaller rehabilitative and more complex and/or high visibility construction
• Ensure the quality and high standards of performance and compliance in both design and construction
• Interact with other construction officials and designers

Qualifications:
• Bachelors' degree with experience in construction and design related field required
• Minimum of three years of experience in construction project management
• Experience with high-end residential construction preferred
• Have a valid drivers' license
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and Outlook
• Must have Active Secret Clearance
