SUMMARY

 

Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting (CNMC) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) responsible for operation and management services for Marine Corps logistics programs worldwide including network facilities and to maintain total asset visibility.  The contract is to provide USMC personnel and authorized customers with exceptional service through facilities from which to efficiently acquire and/or turn in serviceable items of equipment.  The services provided include, but is not limited to item management, accountability, total asset visibility, warehousing, inventory management and total lifecycle management of equipment (including disposal).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The PM is the primary decision maker in all matters relating to the contract and is the direct interface between the Contractor and the USMC PMO.  The PM is responsible for contractor personnel located at worldwide and will be required to have the level of knowledge and experience required to manage global logistics covering at least 3 MEF regions, a multi-billion plus dollar inventory, interagency/joint logistics, fund management, surge, etc. The PM should be a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in various facets of logistics and management, capable of exercising the flexibility often required when supporting Marine Operating Forces.

 

The qualification skills listed below are essential for a highly qualified PM to: manage personnel, manage a substantial inventory, interact with the contractors, and provide exceptional customer service in this complex and dynamic environment. The PM shall be physically located at Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA.

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

 

Supervisory authority over CSP employees

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management/Administration.  Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management, 5 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 4 years of program management experience, or;
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management.  Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management, 4 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 4 years of program management experience, or;
  • At least 15 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain management, 10 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 5 years of program management experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Possess written and oral communications skills, to include public speaking.
  • Possess excellent supervision/management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and to prioritize appropriately.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Possess a solid track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Highly developed leadership skills that enable one to make sound decisions, mediate and resolve conflicts between multiple decision-making groups, and handle diverse and complex problems.
  • High-level analytical skills necessary to plan, organize, formulate innovative solutions and compile, analyze and evaluate data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to promote and maintain cooperative and courteous relationships between individuals with disparate interests.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE required to remain eligible for employment, per contract and government requirements

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 50% CONUS or OCONUS, as needed by the government customer
