SUMMARY

 

The purpose of this contract is to provide for the operation and management services for the Marine Corps CSP worldwide network facilities and to maintain total asset visibility. Current CSP mission support is provided utilizing Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facilities and GOCO Information Technology (IT) systems (i.e. Defense Property Accountability System Warehouse Module (DPAS-WM), Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) Special Operations Forces Sustainment, Asset Visibility and Information Exchange (SSAVIE), and Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)).

 

The mission of the CSP is to provide USMC personnel and authorized customers with exceptional service through facilities from which to efficiently acquire and/or turn in serviceable items of equipment.  The service provided by the contractor includes, but is not limited to item management, accountability, Total Asset Visibility (TAV), warehousing, inventory management and lifecycle management of equipment (including disposal).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The RPM should have the ability to manage as a PM in their respective regions in the absence of the PM. They should have the capacity to assist the Program Manager, as required, in all the duties assigned to the Program Manager. The RPM must be able to make decisions as "acting PM” in the PM’s absence. Regional Project Managers shall be physically located on site at Camp Pendleton, CA (Region West). Although the Region West RPM is located at Camp Pendleton, CA, Japan is included in the Region West’s area of responsibility. This allows the collocation of the RPMs with the Government regional ACOR.

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

 

This position oversees all west coast, Hawaii and Japan CSP Warehouses

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management/Administration.  Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management, at least 4 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 2 years of program management experience, or;
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management/Administration.  Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management, at least 4 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 2 years of program management experience;
  • At least 10 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain management, at least 5 years of demonstrated leadership, and at least 2 years of program management experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Serve as primary point of contact with the Government COR and/or ACOR.
  • Exercise full decision-making authority for contractor regional and site CSP activities
  • Possess written and oral communications skills, to include public speaking.
  • Possess excellent supervision/management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and to prioritize appropriately.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Possess a strong track record of delivering strong customer service.
  • Highly developed leadership skills that enable one to make sound decisions, mediate and resolve conflicts between multiple decision-making groups, and handle diverse and complex problems.
  • High-level analytical skills necessary to plan, organize, formulate innovative solutions and compile, analyze and evaluate data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to promote and maintain cooperative and courteous relationships between individuals with disparate interests.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE required to remain eligible for employment, per contract and government requirements

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 50% CONUS or OCONUS, as needed by the government customer
