CNSP is looking for an experienced person who is capable of providing document data analysis and administrative support services.  The position will have knowledge and experience in the operation of data entry equipment, key-to-disk and CD equipment, computer printers, word-processing equipment, microcomputer keyboards etc. 

A variety of duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generating and managing spreadsheets, tracking databases, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office desktop applications
  • Performing analytical computations necessary to process personal property and fleet data.
  • Monitoring and coordinating operational activities through written and oral communication
  • Analyzing electronic and hard copy records for accuracy and completeness including data analysis to ensure the information has been entered accurately and in a consistent format
  • Performing quality and integrity checks for accuracy, consistency, and maximum usability
  • Performing research and data collection to locate missing file information
  • Maintaining personal property and fleet files
  • Assisting the personal property and fleet custodial assistants with receiving and inspecting equipment, supplies, and motor vehicles
  • Conducting and processing system transactions of corrections, updates, transfers, disposals.
  • Reviewing records, reports, and inventories
  • Preparing statistical activity reports,  (monthly, quarterly, and annually) as well as written reports of inventory, transfer, sale, accident, and disposal
  • Assisting with physical inventory verification of existence, location, and quantity
  • Interacting with internal and external components to retrieve copies of support documentation.
  • Creating and performing system reviews of asset records as well as completing electronic transactions of acquisitions, transfers, and disposals
  • Conducting revisions to office generated correspondents
  • Other administrative related duties as assigned

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly desired
  • A Public Trust Clearance is REQUIRED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite with experience in Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Working knowledge / experience with database systems
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and have sound judgement
  • Work autonomously with little to no supervision
  • Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment
