Summary

CNT is looking to fill the position of a senior Linux Systems / Database Administrator to join its current Systems Team which supports a small group of developers and a larger user base. The selected individual will need to have proven experience in performing Linux Administration at an expert level.  Experience with OpenShift will be a great plus for this position.  FWS uses Postgres for its database and experience with Postgres or a similar enterprise database is also required. This individual is expected to have the ability to mentor and assist team members and also work well within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Superior Linux Systems Administration skills – proven including in depth knowledge of
  • Networking principles
  • Configuration management using an automated tool (CFengine, Ansible)
  • Kerberos
  • OpenSSL
  • Enterprise Database (Postgres) – proven
  • NFS
  • OpenShift
  • VMware
  • Familiarity with container and cloud technologies
  • Good prioritization and time management skills
  • Apache and Tomcat configuration experience
  • Experience in a Dev OPS environment
  • Familiarity with source repository software (SVN, Git, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with introduction of automation to processes
  • Foreman / Satellite experience
  • Passionate about defining processes and documenting
  • Splunk

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience
