The National Park Service (NPS), our client, preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.  The Denver Service Center is led by this NPS mission.  As the central planning, design, and construction management office for the National Park Service (NPS), the Denver Service Center (DSC) provides start-to-finish project management and delivery.

 

We are seeking an e-Records Manager to support the efforts at the National Park Service (NPS).

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts in-depth analysis and studies of e-files maintenance and disposition to improve program management.
  • Oversees and guides Denver Service Center in establishing electronic filing structures and file naming conventions.
  • Develops and issues processes, procedures and guidelines to DSC to ensure compliance with DSC records program goals and guidelines.
  • Serving as an adviser on e-records issues and makes recommendations on changes in policy and procedures.
  • Reconciliation and updates to DSC electronic databases and other electronic systems that support data integrity.
  • Develops criteria, standards, short-term and long-term goals, and approaches to achieve agency objectives in the DSC Records Program.
  • Reviews/recommends metadata fields for DSC e-files and systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Records Management experience.
  • Qualifying specialized experience include: developing, managing, and/or evaluating an electronic records management program; developing, publishing, and/or evaluating procedures applicable to handling, storing, or disposing of electronic records; designing and implementing e-file arrangement systems, filing procedures, and filing techniques of official records.

 

Security Clearance Requirements:
