We are seeking a Maintenance Developer to support the U.S. Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center’ Electronic Systems Section as part of the standardized integration effort. MPC content will be developed using the Coast guard’s Maintenance Development process.

The Electronics and Ordnance Branch is a part of the Surface Forces Logistics Center’s Engineering Services Division located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis in accordance with MIL-P-2453A and MIL-STD-3034 (series) when directed by the COR
  • Develop MRL, LOEP, and MIP
  • Develop ELEX MPCs that will be ready for publication
  • Support the MPC feedback system following the CG-22 process
  • Attend meetings and conferences as required by the COR

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position does not have management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Current RCM maintenance analyst certification by the CG or NAVSEA is desired; will be required to obtain within 6 months of start date
  •  Six (6) years of USCG electronics experience or DoD electronics maintenance development experience is desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Familiarity with ACMS, FLS databases, and CG-22 process is desired
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products to develop written documents, track requirements and other project specific tasks
  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Have the capability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check

  • This position is performed in a secured federal office setting
