The Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), headquartered in San Antonio, TX, is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.

We are looking for a Journeyman Emergency Management Professional to support the AFCEC Director, Deputy Director, and Business Systems Directorate. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in Air Force Emergency Management programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide demonstrate experience and knowledge to plan and support the business operational support requirements
  • Conduct and prepare reports, handle requests, and perform functions, correspondence, and other typical functional duties as a security management specialist

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is from accredited discipline university in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Facility Management, or related field is required; a master’s degree in a related field is strongly desired.
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience with Air Force emergency management.
  • Experience in the Air Force Inspection System (AFIS) and associated tools to support and analyze data for tracking programs is required
  • Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check to gain base access with a Common Access Card (CAC).
