Job Title:  Enterprise Workflow Manager (Protocol) – Journeyman (#14298)

SUMMARY

The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), with headquarters at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, is one of six specialized centers assigned to Air Force Materiel Command. AFIMSC serves as the single intermediate-level headquarters responsible for providing installation and mission support capabilities to 77 Air Force installations, nine major commands and two direct reporting units with an annual budget of approximately $10 billion. The AFIMSC cross-functional team provides globally integrated management, resourcing and combat support operations for Airman and family services, base communications, chaplain, civil engineering, contracting, logistics readiness, public affairs, security forces and financial management programs.

We are looking for Journeyman Enterprise Workflow Manager (Protocol) to support the AFIMSC Directorates with corporate governance, Air Force policy and procedures, enterprise workflow, and information management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Air Force workflow management systems (i.e. Task Management Tool (TMT) and Senior Officer Communications Coordination Electronics Resources (SOCCER), Air Force Electronic Freedom of Information Act (eFOIA)) tasks by receiving incoming packages or tasks, deciphering ownership, assigning tasks to action officers, and reviewing and processing through executive administrative staff to the appropriate offices.
  • Organize daily task listing with status for senior government client review and use.
  • Prepare and update status listing of all client organization tasks for senior government client information and presentation at client weekly staff meetings.
  • Use independent judgement and discretion while working with government client to clear legacy of overdue tasks and continue to monitor on a daily basis.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership, directorate and division leads, and efficiency teams in the form of scheduling, travel, event planning, and answering stakeholder inquires.
  • Participate in business process re-engineering for administrative processes and organizational transformation.
  • Work within the Advanced Distributed Learning System(ADLS) creating reports
  • Provide assistance with the AF Annual Training plan, Requests, authorizations, tracking and creating processes

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.
 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited discipline university is required.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in Air Force programs.
  • Expertise in Air Force policy and procedures (protocol), information knowledge management and Administrative Transformation and records management.
  • Provides administrative support by conducting research, preparing AFIMSC Enterprise Workflow reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing communications and maintaining information management.
  • Desired knowledge of administrative support of organizational transformation, communication processes supporting and expediting transmission of senior executive level and general officer correspondence and engagement to execute AFIMSC Enterprise-Level Workflow, Corporate Governance, and Information Management Program.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties independently to meet aggressive deadlines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • U.S. Citizenship and DoD government security clearance NACI required
