Supports Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting’s client, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Environmental Directorate (CZ) in the development and management of the Air Force’s Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliant Environmental Programs Requirement Development (PRD) document.

Job Description:

Personnel will contribute to AFCEC/CZs mission by inputting, updating, analyzing, integrating, preparing reports, and presentations while maintaining data in their Enterprise Business System. Personnel will assist in preparing Air Force Environmental budget documents in suport of the Air Force Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process and the Air Force’s Future Year Defense Program FYDP and Program Objective Memorandum (POM).  Personnel will utilize the full spectrum of Microsoft Office programs with a heavy emphasis on the use of Microsoft Excel.  Primary duties will include data entry, data analysis, data quality assurance, data quality control, and data integration in support of the AFCEC/CZ mission.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Deliverables):

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Receive, process, conduct data entry, data analysis, data quality assurance, data quality control, and data integration of Air Force Environmental budgeting data in MS Excel and the Air Force’s Enterprise Business System (EBS)
  • Prepare reports and presentations in support of customer objectives
  • Assist in data analysis to form the bases of recommendations for the PPBE and FYDP process
  • Prepares reports and presentations for submission to Higher Headquarter under strict timeline
  • Review and analyze data for accuracy and FIAR compliance
  • Performs record management and archiving duties as needed
  • Provide facility reports, customer service documentation and other supporting documents
  • Interact with 502 CEG personnel, facility managers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in space planning activities, to include space utilization reports, implementation of space standards, and identifying alternative space solutions.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Must have…
  • Minimum of 3-years experience in data entry and management
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  (example: specific software, soft skills, etc. – This gets deleted)

  • Skilled at utilizing Microsoft Office suite of programs. 
  • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with managing data, data analysis or data quality assurance, including moderate experience transforming data into reports through use of pivot tables and other data compilation techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel.
  • Experience with AFCEC Environmental operations is highly desirable
  • Ability to research discrepancies, identify and trouble shoot issues
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have ability to provide excellent customer service.
