Environmental Project Manager

NASA Ames Research Center, one of ten NASA field centers, is located in the heart of California's Silicon Valley. We are currently looking for an Environmental Project Manager for Moffett Field in California.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for coordination of program issues with USACE
  • Responsible for the overall management of the contract including cost, schedule and technical quality of programs
  • Facilitate the flow of information between program members, directors, and the mission's team
  • Provide advice, workflow, and operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and assist with overall improvements to the program
  • Track recurring reports, such as quarterly/bi-annual partner reports, ensuring that these reports are delivered in a timely manner and to the correct recipient(s)
  • Assist with the management, requirements gathering, and other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field of study
  • A minimum of 10 years of Environmental Program Management experience within the federal government (military or DoD preferred)
  • Have a proven track record in program management and competency as well as experience with a full range of the environmental services on a federal level.
  • Federal government experience in CERCLA & RCRA hazardous waste cleanup and minimization and NEPA is strongly desired
  • Have or possess the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and pass a drug screen & background check
