Provides eRecords SME services in support of the USDOJ Civil Division Records Management program. 



Includes the following:

  • advises personnel on the conceptualization, development, and implementation of a broad range of information systems issues;


  • plans strategies for improvement of records information systems and services;


  • communicates current innovations and trends in information systems development to staff;


  • may serve as the chief designer for complex records information systems development;


  • designs and develops proposed solutions to business problems and client requirements;


  • performs high-level system analysis and directs information governance strategy for accomplishing new objectives;


  • prepares justification for selection of new eRecords systems;


  • analyzes work procedures and coordinates the timely review, updating, and modification of all procedures manuals.

  • Requires 8 years systems development experience (4 years specialized) for eRecords and information governance systems.


  • demonstrated ability to analyze complex projects involving diverse operations at multiple sites;


  • demonstrated ability to develop, organize, conduct, eRecords program analysis and requirements development efforts;


  • demonstrated ability to analyze work procedures and to design eRecords schedules and development tasks accordingly


  • Subject Matter Expertise regarding government records management procedures and eRecords implementations




This position is performed in a climate controlled office setting.  Some travel may be required.
