Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking a Financial Data Analyst / Production Controls Specialist to advise and assist with Military Construction (MILCON) and large repair and modernization (SRM) project financial management throughout the Pacific. Candidate will work as part of our company’s on-site engineering team to assist across a wide variety of projects and accounts, working directly with clients, project managers, and stakeholders, to proactively track funding, prepare for upcoming transactions, and investigate and solve problems.

Clients include Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), the Air Force Installation Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) Det 2, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) at Hickam AFB, Hawaii (Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, JBPHH), and Air Force locations throughout the Pacific. Our clients’ missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management.


  • Provide advice and assistance on appropriations and applicable use of government funds
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Trend Analysis
  • Interact with government personnel
  • Spend Plan Development
  • Forecasting potential funding impacts
  • Monitor P&D MILCON Workflow
  • Validate & Process Request for Funds (RFF)
  • Draft formal memos
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.



This is not a supervisory position, but may require providing mentorship, peer review assistance, and technical and professional leadership to colleagues (Cherokee, other contractors, and government personnel).


  • Candidates selected will be subject to a U.S. Government federal background security investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Air Force NACI/SF85 for unescorted access to on-base facilities.
  • BS/BA in Finance/ Accounting and/or Business (or related field)
  • (5) Five plus years in Air Force government finance
  • (8) Eight years of construction industry data management experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree



  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of working across disciplines such as contracting, engineering, finance, contractors, and stakeholders to proactively anticipate and solve project issues.
  • Knowledge of Air Force financial data management process.
  • Excellent English communication and computer skills.


  • Office environment on US military base (PACAF HQ building).
