The Real Estate Technician/Specialist will participate in all levels of Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), Installations Directorate (CI), Real Estate Management (CIT) Division mission from business development to management and professional services; studies, analyses and evaluations and real property technical expertise pertaining to Federal, state and local statutes in regard to grants, real property accountability, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) advice and guidance and negotiation.


Overall responsibilities will be to support the Air Force client and contract support team. The Real Estate technician/specialist, in cooperation with the client and contract support team, performs a full scope of complex real estate analytical services including feasibility research and analysis providing for the foundation of development projects. The Real Estate technician/specialist is expected to be detail oriented, self-directed, and able to work in a collaborative team environment.



  • Assist with preparing and presenting the grant analysis results in a clear and concise manner
  • Communicate with client and contract support team regarding ongoing project status, variance reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Review and analyze legal documents and third party reports as part of the due diligence process.
  • Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Participate in real property accountability discussions and provide informative information regarding the capture of assets to the Air Force inventory
  • Participate in Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) discussions and provide feedback to clients process improvements
  • Participate in the development of NEXGEN requirements and understanding of real property accountability with regards to Office of Secretary of Defense guidelines
  • Participate in client and contract support team functions.
  • Interact on a daily basis with contract support team and client, including Senior Air Force leadership at Pentagon to Installation level
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and contract support team
  • Perform local and national real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory

Bachelor’s Degree



  • Minimum of 1 year of Federal Real Estate Property experience or 3 years of Commercial Real Estate experience in lieu of Federal Real Estate Property experience
  • Real Property Accountability Experience
  • Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written with strong presentation skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible and multi-task
  • Results oriented, customer service focused, and have the ability to deal with conflict
