CSG is looking for a Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer with UI. Our client the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) provides enterprise-class services for managing digital identities, credentials, and access to systems and applications. These services include centralized identity lifecycle management, role management for access control, automated account and access provisioning and de-provisioning, and electronic identification of employees, partners, and customers, for access to applications and system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

3-5 years’ experience with:

  • Agile, scrum, and DevOps methodologies
  • Back-end software development, including:
    • User-centric design practices
    • Usability testing
    • User experience design,
    • Visual design,
    • Open-source login / authentication services,
    • Experience with latest versions of .NET
    • Responsive Design
    • “Mobile first” approaches, performance budgeting, and progressive enhancement
  • Software development general skillsets including:
    • Experience in .NET
    • Experience with system architecture/design
    • Experience with API security architecture/design
    • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS
    • Experience in developing responsive/adaptive interfaces for both desktop and mobile
    • Proficiency in translating front-end mockups and wireframes into functioning applications
    • Experience in designing/coding for high availability and performance.
    • Experience in designing/coding for high security
    • Experience with rapid prototyping / simulations / iterative design
    • Experience supporting accessibility requirements from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA and Section 508).
    • Understanding of HTTP interaction with browsers (request types, request headers, synchronous/asynchronous requests).
    • Understanding of page rendering orchestration within a browser
    • Proficiency at using browser development tools within each major browser
    • Experience in coding to mitigate OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Top_Ten_Project)
    • Experience with development tools such as GIT, GITLab, or Atlassian suite.

 

Education and/ or Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred
  • US Citizenship
  • Must hold an Active and Current Public Trust Clearance
  • Incumbent will be required to pass a federal government background check and a drug screen test.
  • Strong skills in programming
  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
     

Supervisory/Management Authority:

· This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

The Sr. .NET Developer shall be responsible for the following:

•             Use the design style guide consistently for related digital services

•             Give users clear information about where they are in each step of the process

•             Follow accessibility best practices to ensure all people can use the service

•             Provide users with a way to exit and return later to complete the process

•             Use language that is familiar to the user and easy to understand

•             Apply these language and design standards consistently throughout the service, including online and offline touch points

Work Environment:

· This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment
