SUMMARY

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is seeking a Functional Property Management Specialist II for a contract with the Department of State (DoS), Countermeasures Directorate (C), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS); providing Administrative, Program and Services Support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the training of the Department of States system of record; Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the Secure-Integrated Logistics Management system (S-ILMS), Mobile Asset advantage and as directed the use of core CMMS (IBM Maximo) and mobile CMMS.
  • Drafts Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Memorandums, and weekly logistics reports pertaining to the procurement handling, programing and inventory/accountability of all DS equipment deployed worldwide.
  • Assist with annual inventory reconciliation of all geographic regions of DS property using the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the Secure-Integrated Logistics Management system (S-ILMS), Mobile Asset advantage and as directed the use of core CMMS (IBM Maximo) and mobile CMMS.

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of an Associates’ degree in Business, or other related areas of study and have an active and current Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA).
  • Three years’ experience in logistics management required
  • Forklift driving experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Candidates MUST BE US CITIZENS and have an active and current SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Candidates will be required to undergo a US federal government background investigation and favorably pass a complete drug screen.
  • This position requires extensive travel in CONUS (USA) and OCONUS (Overseas) to Department of State facilities.
  • Candidates must have in their possession a valid US Passport whose renewal date is valid for One Year from the date of their hiring.
  • Candidates must have a current and valid OSHA Certification; proof of this certification will be required during the recruitment process.
  • Have a basic understanding of all relevant Foreign Affairs Manual and Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAM/FAH) regulations regarding property management and be able to provide relevant assistance to DS-field personnel.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of DS property to include the items used and installed by field offices;
  • Proficient written/verbal and presentation communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional working relationships with a wide variety of government and contractor staff;
  • Proven ability to directly support overseas logistic positions;

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment and in a warehouse enviornment.
