Global Trade & Compliance Coordinator, Tulsa, OK, USThis position is primarily responsible for supporting the global trade and compliance program. Responsible for assisting with compliance requirements related to metrics, cases/issues/concerns, emerging law(s) and regulation, and training requirements in order to support the needs of the business, which includes expansion and customer engagement.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Assist in all aspects of the ethics and compliance program which includes maintaining policies, procedures, regulatory risk matrices and the compliance calendar. 
  • Support ongoing development, implementation, and administration of ethics and compliance programs which includes: tracking and implementation of policies and procedures, business processes, reporting requirements, recordkeeping, and training.
  • Assist with reporting and documentation requirements for government clients, prime contractors, subcontractors and management, as required.
  • Perform tasks related to regulatory reporting efforts and provide assistance with gaining compliance approval; assist with preparing materials for successful completion of regulatory audits.
  • Responsible for reviewing compliance reviews of internal employee communications, customer complaints and other employee surveillance matters; provide reports, as needed.
  • Assist with support related to classification guidance, instructions in support of ITAR and overall compliance program.
  • Support the denied party screening system and visitor registration system.
  • Convey regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas: anti-boycott/export control classification, export licensing and documentation, compliance training, tariff classification, duty drawback, country of origin determination, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with identifying any export and FCPA red flags; develop responses and recommendations to the export compliance manager and upper management, as needed.
  • Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure full compliance for all import/export transactions and support the trade compliance operations, including HTS classification, ECCN, and schedule B.
  • Report any loss or potential loss of ITAR or controlled documents.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 4 years of global trade and compliance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal degree and/or certificate preferred. Experience with government contracts, ITAR and compliance programs preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Effective written, communication and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and project deadlines.
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to perform job functions independently with minimum oversight.
  • Requires US citizenship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
