SUMMARY GRANTS COORDINATOR I ROSSLYN, VA (ID #13011)

The position provide Facilities, Administrative, and General Office Support to various field offices. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Prepares awards and promptly responds to awards inquiries.
  • Oversees post award orientation/coordination.
  • Monitors award performance, including quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Prepares award modifications that conform to applicable federal laws, regulations, policies, and case precedent.
  • Assists senior grants officers with actions to remedy issues with recipient performance or terminate agreement.
  • Contributes to the office's responsiveness by replying to emails and phone calls within one workday on average.
  • Coordinates closeout of Branch assistance actions.
  • Conducts active monitoring of assistance awards to include documented review and analysis of submitted recipient reports, planning and participation in site visits to include written report of findings and observations, desk reviews to include written analysis, maintaining required documents and correspondence in the official grants file.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Position requires a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of SAM Domestic
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills
  • Have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other software applications use to compile statistical data
  • Active Secret clearance

This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
