Helpdesk Manager

Cherokee Nation Assurance is currently hiring for a Helpdesk Manager to provide professional IT support for the Information Management Division of The United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the communication channel between the government and personnel within their section
  • Receive tasks from IMD management and assign these tasks to a member or members of the section
  • Provide weekly section status reports to IMD management
  • Consult with other section Team Leads to solve problems
  • Ensure that work tracking tools (Remedy, Project Tracking System) reflect current status of work performed
  • Prepare metric reports weekly, and as requested, utilizing Remedy and other reporting tools

SUPERVISOR/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • Lead and/or guide the work of other employees

EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • 1-3 years of related experience working on a Help Desk in a Team Lead capacity

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • A favorable National Agency Check (NAC) and National Agency Investigations leading to a secret clearance
  • Must be a US citizen
