Cherokee Nation Business is looking for a Journeyman Logistician to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Advanced Concepts and Rapid Transition Division (AC&RT).   We are providing integrated and interoperable quality products to the fleet and maintaining a close working relationship with the warfighter.  We also provide the personnel, facilities, and processes required to design, develop, integrate, install, and transition various sensors, systems and manned and unmanned air, sea and shore-based platforms to U.S. Navy, DoD, and other Government agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full life-cycle logistics support for projects and programs.
  • Assist in a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) data tracking program for assets
  • Provide coordination, recording, packaging, and tracking of government assets for shipment and repair purposes
  • Communicate with government project leads and leadership for all aspects of logistics support
  • Provide facilities support to maintain all division buildings, duties may include, but not limited to reporting, submitting and tracking trouble tickets for repairs required and coordinate with Division and Department facilities personnel, NAVFAC and contracted IAP service teams; and may address any fall, slip and trip hazards to building access ways during inclement weather events.
  • Some (CONUS) travel might be required

Qualifications:

  • Experienced in various aspects of rapid fielding programs
  • Ability to communicate with government project leads and 4.11.6 leadership for all aspects of logistics support
  • Leadership over all aspects of logistics support
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills (English).
  • Possess demonstrated experience and leadership in all aspects of logistics support
