The position will assist in the sustainment activities and strategic initiatives identified by MHS Senior Leadership. This position will be part of a team that supports Program Management, Change Management, Business Process Reengineering Planning and Business Case Analysis, Meeting Facilitation, and Concepts of Operations Plans Development.  


Includes the following:

  • Providing analytic and administrative support to MHS stakeholders across the enterprise (e.g., facilitating and attending meetings, preparing presentations/reports, drafting meeting minutes)
  • Assist Mid- and Senior-Level Analysts with tracking and delegating tasks to Action Owners using pre-established processes
  • Provide input for routine reports highlighting team accomplishments and goals for the next reporting period    
  • Coordinate with team members to complete tasks and address issues
  • Maintain filing system for required documents (physical and electronic) 
  • Provide back-up support for Mid-Level Analyst when necessary
  • Performs other job related duties as required.


No supervisory or management authority.


Bachelor’s Degree required and 0-2 years professional experience serving in an analytic capacity (preferably for a Government client).


  • Proficiency using full suite of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with program management best practices
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both technical- and business-focused
  • Experience working in diverse team of individuals/personalities
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a federal government security clearance
  • Analytical capacity to support complex government systems and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused demeanor
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Strong organization skills, accustomed to working as a part of a dynamic project team with shifting work priorities
  • Attentiveness to detail when preparing client deliverables (e.g., emails, reports, presentations)
  • Positive demeanor and public speaking/presentation skills
  • Ability to listen and accept constructive criticism for professional development
  • Proactive in identifying problems and developing solutions
  • Previous experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) client or exposure to military personnel (preferred, not required)
  • General knowledge of healthcare industry clinical practices and business processes (preferred, not required)


Work will be performed in a climate controlled office environment.
