Job 13182- Lead Production Associate  

This position is primarily responsible for training new and experienced production line workers. Ensures line is supplied with shop materials and tools to accomplish tasks. Responsible for interpreting and communicating shop orders, drawings, and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
•    Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
•    Inform supervisor of safety concerns, workload adjustments and of any complaints and/or daily issues.
•    Interpret specifications, blueprints, and shop orders to workers and assign duties.
•    Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
•    Analyze and resolve work related problems and/or assist workers in solving work related problems.
•    Maintain time and production records and prepare material requisitions.
•    Collaborate with other production leads to coordinate activities.
•    Attend formal classroom study, seminars or other types of training to enhance competencies and skills as required.
•    Performs other job related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Lead and/or guide the work of other employees. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school and 1 to 2 years of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions.
•    Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
•    Interpersonal, organizational, time management, basic math, attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate exposure to sound (e.g., business office with office machines and computers, people traffic), some outdoor weather conditions and all routine job tasks inherent in position; the ability to stand and walk one-third to two-third of the time; the ability to talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; lift and move up to 60 lbs.; close vision; color vision; depth perception and ability to correct and adjust focus
