The individual in this position will serve as a Logistics Specialist I supporting the Countermeasures Directorate and /or subordinate offices. This individual will act in the Logistic Specialist I capacity during those extended times that the Logistic Specialist I is away from the office on travel, leave, etc. This position may require overseas and/or domestic travel.




  • Assists in drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Contract file documents, Memorandums, and weekly logistics reports
  • Submit and track all Purchase Requests and Contract submitted. 
  • Assists with the annual, quarterly, and monthly inventory of equipment and controlled loaned DoD/OGA (classified) and DS assets, and the movement of armored vehicles, equipment and systems for use at National test facilities.



No supervisory or management responsibilities



  • Associate degree recommended but not required.
  • Two years’ experience working in the logistics field.




  • Must be a US citizen;
  • Interim Secret level security clearance to start is acceptable, however, must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance within 6 months of start date;
  • Ability to get certification for Hazmat using DOD and DOT requirements;
  • Proficient in written/verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional working relationships with a wide variety of government and contractor staff; and
  • Proven ability to directly support overseas logistic positions.
