CNSP is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to serve as a Maintenance Developer in support of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Electronic Systems Section as part of the standardized integration effort.

The Electronics and Ordnance Branch is a part of the Surface Forces Logistics Center’s Engineering Services Division located in Baltimore, Maryland.  This candidate can also sit in the Chesapeake VA. U.S. Coast Guard office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPC) for electrical and electronic equipment. 
  • Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis in accordance with MIL-P-2453A and MIL-STD-3034 (series) when directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
  • Support the maintenance procedure card feedback system following the CG-22 process.
  • Attend meetings and conferences as required by the Contracting Officer’s Representative

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Current RCM maintenance analyst certification by the Coast Guard (CG) or Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is desired
  • Will be required to obtain within  six (6) months of start
  • Six (6) years of USCG electronics experience or DoD electronics maintenance development experience is desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Familiarity with ACMS, FLS databases, and CG-22 process is desired
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and federal background check

  • This position is performed in a secured federal office setting
