SUMMARY

Will provide preventative maintenance support to the Office of Facilities Management Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on building equipment following the work plans within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Maximo.
  • Employee must inspect for functionality/operational condition while assessing impacts to building systems including life safety.
  • Enter service call tickets into Maximo for any discrepancies/issues noted during the conduct of normal assigned duties.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical and plumbing equipment maintenance, repair, or inspection; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
  • Successfully pass a federal background check and a drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed in a climate-controlled office.
