This is an outstanding opportunity to work for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the Pentagon City area. The selected Management Analyst will provide support in the preparation and distribution flow of the daily Intelligence report officers cables prepared by the contractor Intelligence ROs as well as compile daily output into weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports used by DEA to measure intelligence effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Conducts statistical analysis in conjunction with the reporting requirements and performance measures, including the RW program, RFIs, and coordination of FOIA requests
  • Conducts analysis, compiles data, prepares reports, and graphically displays the information related to reporting requirements for submission to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and federal agency executives
  • Coordinates strategic and statistical reports with division personnel regarding interagency coordination, RFIs, and production
  • Evaluates, plans, and conducts the analytical and evaluative work related to the development and presentation of Report Writers program, RFIs, and interagency coordination
  • Monitors and ensures the RWs maintain in a prescribed format, statistics on number of cables prepared, proper completion/ submission of information summaries, form-381’s, sanitized information folders, summary of work performed, and quarterly status reports and briefings
  • Assists with the evaluation of policy, instructions, and legislative directives affecting operations and maintenance
  • Assists with research, identifying, and gathering of documents responsive to incoming FOIA requests, and determines which exemptions apply (if any)
  • Assist in the administrative tracking of contractor work hours, individual contractor report outputs, and other administrative duties as assigned to support the ROs’ efforts.
  • Shall upload finished reports into the appropriate database systems for appropriate storage and/or Dissemination.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or H.S. Diploma with 5 years data processing experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excel (build and manage formulas) and Access proficient
  • Knowledge of information technology
  • High attention to detail
  • Contractor Intelligence ROs shall possess excellent writing and oral communication skills (English).
  • Able to comprehend and implement processes and procedures in accordance with the training provided by DEA.
  • Possess demonstrated experience or ability in analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating intelligence information.
  • The ability to appreciate and adhere to requirements of the IC is required.
