CNSP is looking for a mid-level (journeyman) Human Resource Specialist to assist a federal agency in the development and implantation of their Human Capital Management Plan (HCMP).


  • Perform position classification
  • Process recruitment actions through OPM USA Staffing program
  • Help develop and execute new employee orientation plans
  • Support in retirement processing procedures
  • Calculate full-time equivalents (FTE)
  • Assist in producing routine recurring reports
  • Supports more routine HR tasks, assemble routine activity reports



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred
  • Equivalent years of direct H.R. experience within a federal agency will be considered
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years Federal H.R. experience required in staffing, classifications, H.R. processes, policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to adhere to a Monday through Thursday, full-time, 32 hour schedule
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Public Trust Clearance
  • Ability to successfully pass a federal background check and drug screen
