CNSS is looking for seasoned Operations General Manager to take the overall lead, management and oversee all efforts functions of the company to ensure the successful performance of projects and overall customer satisfaction. The Operations General Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate company operations ensuring company objectives are timely met in a timely manner.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages daily operations and plans the use of materials and human resources.
  • Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and recommends technical and management solutions to technical problems that arise during project execution to the individual program managers
  • Provide leadership and assistance to their team members
  • Responsible for implementing controls over spending and procurement to ensure adherence to the company budget
  • Monitors and directs daily operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services are being provided efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as necessary; personally handles the most difficult, sensitive or controversial projects for the company
  • Engages in high-level negotiations to generate contracts or build beneficial relationships with companies and individuals.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and project delivery.
  • Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting and budgetary planning.
  • Leads strategic, tactical, and planning discussions.
  • Develops and implements cost savings measures based on P&L requirements.
  • Evaluates and ensures compliance with policies, practices, and standards to meet business objectives
  • Oversees the Business Development team in structuring of effective pricing strategies to place the company in the best position to win, while staying within corporate profitability guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to achieve the company's long-term goals and objectives
  • Monitors and tracks the performance and achievements of the employees as well of the entire company
  • Responsible for matters related to finance and transactions are within his supervision.
  • Resolve all customer concerns directly or through direct reports and provide feedback to management
  • Provide regular updates to the Sector EGM on customer/department issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • Leads multiple program directors and managers by providing leadership for employee through effective communications, coaching, training, establishing goals and developing employees and leaders
  • May manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a closely related field is required
  • Some work toward an accredited Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar graduate level program is a plus
  • Must have at least thirteen to fifteen (13-15) years of experience within the federal marketplace acquiring, growing, implementing, and managing federal contracts as a consultant Program Manager, Executive Director of Operations or equivalent level positions.
  • Must have held Vice President/President or similar executive level positions of authority in the past
  • Experience directing multiple subsidiaries/divisions with significant contributions to strategic growth that generated $100M+ a year.
  • Experience working with/for tribally owned federal companies is strongly desired.

  • Broad understanding of member/customer interaction contact points
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills in driving enterprise level initiatives and engagement with all stakeholders
  • Ability to successfully collaborate and influence across multiple functions and key stakeholders to achieve desired goals
  • Requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build internal/external relationships.
  • Understanding of key best practices relating to delivery of services and technology.
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills with an understanding of financials.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
  • Excellent management of people, open to direction and collaborative work style while maintaining a commitment to accomplishing goals
  • Strong time management, planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
  • Must have good analytical skills, attention to details, self-motivation and organization skills.
  • Ability to self-direct in a challenging and ambiguous environment is required
  • Ability to travel as needed locally and out of state
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance

  • This position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
