The National Park Service (NPS), our client, preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.  The Denver Service Center is led by this NPS mission.  As the central planning, design, and construction management office for the National Park Service (NPS), the Denver Service Center (DSC) provides start-to-finish project management and delivery.  

Job Description:

We are looking for full-time Procurement Technicians to help support the efforts at NPS DSC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Deliverables):

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Assists Contract Specialists and Contracting Officers in preparing contract documents (solicitations, letters, notices, etc)
  • Files and distributes both hard copy and electronic contract documents
  • Completes contract close-out activities as follows:
    • Prepares required documentation, including de-obligation modifications, for Contracting Officer Signature
    • Completes all data entry for closeout activities
    • Transports files to off-site storage facility and maintains off-site storage facility
    • Coordinates file transfer to NARA
    • Coordinates and completes file destruction as required.
  • Creates and distributes Purchase Requests in FBMS
  • Processes invoices for approval and payment in both Sharepoint and FBMS.
  • Researches payment requests and invoice issues; provides invoice updates and status.
  • All performance requirements are time-sensitive.  Completes all work within required timelines and meets deadlines. 
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • No management of others or supervisory roles.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years general office experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in data entry

This position is primarily performed in a federally secured, controlled office environment.
