  1. Military Operational Medicine Research Program (MOMRP) represents the Army core research mission by providing cutting edge scientific research and bringing science to the Soldier on the battlefield. A supporting branch is the Clinical Rehabilitative Medicine Research Program (CRMRP).

We are seeking an Program Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and management support for the Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine Research Program. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for CRMRP’s Army and Defense Health Program (DHP) funded research programs
  • Manage the Director, Deputy Director and CRMRP events calendars to include booking and preparing travel vouchers through the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Prepare and staff official correspondence using the appropriate MRMC, Army, DHP and DoD formatting and staffing procedures
  • Serve as the CRMRP administrative coordinator for all in-processing and out-processing of staff
  • Provide general office support by serving as the FedEx coordinator and providing office supply needs and logistical support for office moves
  • Track formal and informal taskers and prepare weekly reports on those taskers
  • Execute other administrative support requirements which include developing and providing progress briefings on all aspects of research program efforts and related initiatives, including compiling program information for annual reports to Congress and internal CRMRP reports
  • Schedule and maintain all conference room schedule(s)/calendar(s).  Coordinate conference room reservations as requested
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for the Director, Deputy Director, program managers and science officers
  • Schedule group meetings and VTCs (for Joint Programmatic Committee (JPC-8) business meetings, Integrated Product Team meetings, etc.).  Assist in preparing and distributing meeting materials to all meeting participants
  • Prepare all travel orders and amendments for military, civilian and IPA personnel within the CRMRP.  Process all travel claims for all persons returning from travel (from the CRMRP). Coordinate with DFAS, as required, to resolve any outstanding travel claim issues
  • Coordinate travel for non-CRMRP military, civilian and IPA attendees attending meetings at the request of the Director, Deputy Director, Program Manager, and Science Officers (approximately four meetings a year and anywhere between five (5) to 35 attendees)
  • Prepare and coordinate meeting /conference approval packet/travel arrangements/logistics for all CRMRP meetings.  Ensure all meeting packets and travel requests are prepared and staffed in on time to ensure approval
  • Serve as the CRMRP records manager for the Army Records Information Management System.  Assists with procurement of office supplies and services as needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma

Knowledge, Skillls and Abilities

  • Experience in providing administrative support to senior executives.
  • Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Work Environment

  • This position is primarily in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment
