The position will assist with planning, development, and execution of standard operating procedures and improvements.


Includes the following:

  • Support OSTLTS in developing and fostering partnerships through consultation, technical assistance, and training on program and project implementation with internal and external groups.
  • Research and develop responses to issues and inquiries.
  • Assist with planning, development, and execution of standard operating procedures and improvements on cross-cutting priority areas, such as project officer development, CDC field staff development, and overall grants optimization.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and report on plans and actions for/from select agency-wide workgroup activities.
  • Development a variety of documents to carry out broad intramural and extramural agendas.
  • Provide assistance to State and local governments and to various public, nonprofit, and private entities on program and administrative matters relating to the development, implementation, operation, administration, evaluation, and funding by public health activities that may be financed in whole or in part by the Federal Government.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.


No supervisory or management authority.


Bachelor's Degree and preferably a MPH or MBA in this field of expertise. Previous experience with CDC OSTLTS programs, policies and procedures highly desired.


Work will be performed in a climate controlled office environment.
