SUMMARY

Cherokee Nation Business is looking for a Project Analyst to support the Advanced Concepts & Rapid Acquisition (AC&RT) 4.11.6 division within Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.  This position in located at Patuxent River, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysts of project budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. 
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, project schedules, project cost
  • estimates, project briefings, monthly and weekly reports, meeting minutes
  • Performs analysis, and develops budgeting and accounting reports, and monitoring post-award contracts.
  • General understanding of CLINs, ACRNs, contract mods, and use of EDA/Navy ERP to monitor funds applied through execution, and Shared Data Warehouse. 
  • Assist with planning requirements for rapid response systems, program initiatives, and project plan to include cost, schedule & performance.
  • Prepare the acquisition documentation to support government acquisition strategy for the government project.  
  • Experience with NAVAIR project and contract control tools such as Navy ERP to manage and report on contracts.
  • Acquire a general knowledge of the project being executed including all three aspects of the project: Cyber, Open Architecture, and M&S
  • Prepare and maintain an inventory of Government Owned Equipment.
  • Coordinate & setup assigned meetings (both non-secure and secure).
  • Obtain & validate security clearances as needed (JPAS).

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

N/A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience and relevant BA/BS or MA/MS degree in finance or related field.   Experience with NavyERP preferred.
  • In lieu of degree, at least eight (8) years of relevant experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Secret Clearance required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Climate-controlled office setting.
