SUMMARY:

Will be a junior PDS, with limited knowledge of U.S. Government foreign policies and demonstrated relevant qualifications. The PDS II candidate will possess skills, including basic interpersonal, writing, organizational skills, as well as significant attention to detail and the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment) and have strong writing and decision-making skills, and exhibit organizational awareness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following:

  • A demonstrated knowledge of and relevant experience designing and managing activities related to international affairs.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Department of State structures and processes, including experience working domestically or overseas at a U.S. Embassy or in the Peace Corps.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) and experience in accessing, designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programming, is preferred.
  • Experience working with the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region, Iran, other relevant countries and/or relevant language skills, a plus

EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma with 1 to 2 years’ experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 Controlled climate office environment.
