SUMMARY

The contractor shall support U.S. Government representatives in all stages of the award process to ensure efficient and accurate communication with grantees/implementers. The contractor shall have the technical ability for activities including, but not limited to, communicating with the grantee during the pre-award phase on behalf of the Grant Officer (GO) and Project Officer (PO), organizing meetings between POs, GOs and grantees, providing technical assistance during award execution, assisting with award closeout, working on grant compliance activities, assisting in grant reviews or other inquiries, and other duties as assigned.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • PDS will assist with project and program design, development, and management.
  • Tasks may include conducting research and analysis on policy and programmatic trends.
  • Consolidating volumes of data to draft concise briefing papers, talking points, public affairs documents.
  • Supporting outreach activities to the U.S. Congress, media and other public stakeholders.
  • Review quarterly reports and grant documents.
  • Assist in program and budget tracking;
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to projects awarded and other assigned tasks in support of U.S. Government foreign policy initiatives.
  • PDS V (Top Secret/TS): are expected to be senior Program Design and Support Specialist with significant knowledge of U.S. Government foreign policies and demonstrated relevant qualifications.

EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Expected to be senior Program Design and Support Specialist with significant knowledge of U.S. Government foreign policies and demonstrated relevant qualifications.
  • Possess skills exemplifying significant attention to detail, the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, as well as, the highest level of skills in the following: interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing, problem solving and significant organizational leadership skills.
  • This level will require little day-to-day direction to successfully complete projects assigned, will generally obtain approval from supervisor at project completion with minor revisions and will seek guidance from supervisors for assistance in resolving challenging issues.
  • Lead and train other PDS in the operation of the program office.
  • Highest level of skills in the following: interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing, problem solving and significant organizational leadership skills.
  • PDS V will be able to lead and train other PDS in the operation of the program office.
  • Masters or Bachelors with 2 years’ experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 Controlled climate office environment.
