SUMMARY

CNOS is currently seeking a Program Manager for an opportunity in the DASD Health Readiness Policy and Oversight (HRP&O) Directorate in Falls Church, VA. The Program Manager will provide oversight, guidance, and strategic support on program objectives and activities to include cost, schedule and performance responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide subject matter expertise on all matters pertaining to the business rules that guide staff practices/procedures and providing general rules and guideline for business functions.
  • Manage employees and their performance to include all training functions.
  • Maintain a stable workforce. No more than 10 percent turnover per year.
  • Assist government in performance/task monitoring, provide current roster with on board date, qualification, and location.
  • Utilize analytical techniques to evaluate results and make recommendations on effective resource utilization and workflow processes.
  • Develop and maintain a customer focused culture that delivers high quality performance.
  • Ensure all personnel meet or exceed PWS qualification requirements.
  • Perform timely corrective action for identified contract discrepancies.
  • Organize and direct work, coordinate efforts with other functions, and direct personnel to achieve objectives.
  • Supervises contractor employees.
  • Interview, hiring, and training contractor employees.
  • Be responsible for staff development, planning, assigning and directing work.
  • Be responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsible for ensuring quality management of service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
     

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • This position will have supervisory/management authority.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Allied Health, or Health Sciences.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must have experience in managing multiple managing multiple activities of a group of management, organizational and business process improvement staff to execute the business plans, developing plans and projects, determining needs, investigating and resolving problems, interfacing with other functions and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, and managing staff
  • Must have experience directly supervising contractor employees.
  • Must have experience interviewing, hiring, and training contractor employees.
  • Must have experience addressing complaints and resolving problems.
     

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Occasional travel and overnight stay may be required.
