CNSP is looking for a driven Project Coordinator for a contract with the Department of State (DoS) providing Administrative, Program and Services Support. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor time sheet compliance for employees across corporate accounts supported by PMO
  • Review and approve expense reports and time sheets (requires familiarity with federal standards for travel, per diem, and other topics related to expense and time reporting)
  • Implement process efficiencies, automation, and other PMO initiatives to improve compliance with contract deliverables, time/expense reporting, and invoicing with suppliers, partners, and customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate back office departments to assist employees with concerns, employee record changes, modifications, updates, etc.
  • Serve as corporate liaison for customer accounts supported by the PMO
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, particularly with managers and team leads, in order to provide them a “front office” contact point for all corporate concerns that may arise
  • Monitor and review staffing and recruiting for accounts supported by the PMO
  • Ensure weekly project tracking and reporting is captured and reviewed to manage risks and issues
  • Produce metrics for financial and staff utilization management
  • Review and approve monthly invoices, ensuring the invoices match the unique needs and expectations of the individual contracts
  • Work closely with customers to apply best practices in management, financial reporting, invoicing, EVM, and ensuring timely delivery of periodic deliverables
  • Assist Program Managers in developing financial plans and budgets and to monitor funding
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed to assist management in decision making related to financial reports, burn charts, and other contract support documentation to be used by all contracts
  • Respond to client requests for program and financial management concerns including invoicing questions or modifications

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field is required
  • Have working experience creating, reviewing and editing documents
  • Experience with developing and writing procedural documents or standard operational procedure guidelines


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to use critical thinking, multi-task and work under tight deadlines with minimum or no supervision
  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and other software for data collection and manipulation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Have the ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check

Work Environment:

  • This position is performed in a secured federal office setting
