The Project Coordinator will provide assistance to the program management team by providing cost analyses and assisting in managing their projects. This involves developing project baseline budgets, maintaining project schedules, tracking resource usage and project progress, and identifying potential problems, using advanced analytical tools such as earned value metrics and reporting. The Project Coordinator is responsible for working with Program Managers to assess and address resource and cost-related risks during project life cycles. Additionally, this position tracks and analyzes all project documentation to improve its ability to meet customer expectations. Responsible for maintaining a professional, courteous and friendly environment by constantly monitoring and proactively reacting to future forecasted needs.


  • Develop, maintain and update tracking systems for project documentation
  • Assist in developing Project Management Plans and keeping them updated
  • Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues, publish reports, and recommend solutions
  • Support special studies and analyses, preparing charts, tables, graphics, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems
  • Generate special reports requested by project teams and/or corporate related to the financial aspects of on-going and potential projects
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assist in financial analyses and variance analysis
  • Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
  • Assist in analyzing funding requirements and process funding modifications in system cost as well as schedule performance for moderate to large projects, using tools such as Deltek B&P, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Performs other job related duties as required.


  • Outstanding editing and note taking skills
  • Ability to function in a fast pace environment
  • Experience adapting and responding to differing instructions and programs
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Share Point (highly recommended)
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
