CNSP is looking for a Project Management Professional who will provide Project Management support to the Department of State. They will be a liaison to the Policy and Planning group (PPD) on al DSPS Program reporting and planning matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Program Planning/Quarterly Metric Reporting
  • Assist in the final review and clearance of Quarterly Metric Reporting; 25 Programs – 169 Program Metrics and 62 Bureau Level Metrics. 
  • Revise and prepare all quarterly metric documentation for the Office Directors’ review and clearance.
  • Developed a strategy for the program-planning season. 
  • Perform strategic analysis of metrics to ensure proper program alignments. 
  • Develop a list of proposed modifications to program plans
  • Meeting with program managers to discuss/suggest program changes
  • Provide QPR training for all newly hired administrative assistants to navigate DSPS system 
  • Compile, edit, and finalize the program plan presentations to Senior Leadership.

Supervisory/Management Authority:

· This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • The Project Management Professional shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, with a strong emphasis on Project Management. This position does not require a PMP certification.
  • They must have 3-5 years of experience in business with a focus on process improvement, business reengineering, and performance measurement evaluation, and Project Management 
  • Be capable of preparing project management document tools (e.g., project plans, charters, and scopes of work). 
  • They shall be an expert in utilizing programs such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, (Microsoft 2010) and SharePoint 2016 and Adobe Pro.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Must be US citizen
  • Incumbent must have a current and active Secret Clearance
  • Incumbent must successfully pass a drug test and also a federal government background investigation

Work Environment:

· This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, in a controlled office environment
