Are responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the project quality programs on behalf of the Construction Project Manager


Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Are responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the project quality programs on behalf of the Construction Manager
  • Provide initiatives to maintain quality awareness at an optimum level consistent with the Company's quality objectives 
  • Actively participate in an effective safety program
  • Prepare and implement Project QA/QC Plan
  • Maintain a current knowledge and act as liaison with third party agencies such as ASME, AISC, etc with respect to quality issues
  • Stay fully informed on all existing and proposed changes in applicable regulations
  • Identify and evaluate quality risks that may have an impact on the project.  Implement appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Develop and administer the Site Specific Quality Plan incorporating Company quality requirements and all applicable Client rules and regulations
  • Develop project quality goals, measures and communicate progress toward those goals.  Initiate quality process improvements.
  • Conduct and document quality audits and inspections to monitor the effectiveness of the project quality plan, make recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
  • Responsible for investigating and analyzing root causes and developing recommendations for corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences
  • Evaluate Quality programs and products of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Participate in project planning and monitor effectiveness
  • Develop, administer and monitor quality training programs that meet the project needs
  • Provide support and guidance for the personal and professional development of personnel
  • Act as liaison with Client in respect to all quality issues
  • Identify and develop inspection subcontractor(s) to support the quality efforts
  • Ensure that all project quality related documentation is maintained and reporting requirements are satisfied in a timely manner
  • Review design documents for quality considerations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Manager projects Quality Control Plan, having direct Approval of Submittals supervisory responsibilities.


Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science and a minimum of 5 years work experience in a related field. 


  • Knowledge of High Voltage  Electrical and Civil Plans
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in managing and directing people
  • Demonstrated success in managing the quality process on large projects
  • Registered Lead Assessor, or equivalent
  • Communications skills (both written & verbal)
  • Microsoft Office experience


This position is primarily performed at a Project Site in the Field.
