Our client, The Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC), provides the software expertise needed to support command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, (C4ISR) as well as logistics, business and enterprise systems in the modern digital environment.

 

CN3S is looking for a Mid-level Human Resources Manager to provide personnel support services to the Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act in a supporting role to plan and coordinate human resources activities as required by the organization  
  • Provide support with performance management i.e. performance reviews, Individual Professional Development (IDP), and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) to include suggested course of action and management guidance
  • Maintain and track government employment payment plans such as wages, pay scales and structures while maintaining discretion
  • Manage employment personnel databases with updates and information changes as they apply
  • Coordinate and track employee mentor programs to groom and promote individual growth and team building
  • Assist with the coordination of employee recognition programs to include delegation of authorities, award levels offered, candidates considered etc.
  • Other administrative duties pertaining to H.R. functions as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • A masters’ or bachelor’s degree is highly desired; a high school diploma is required        
  • Four (4) to eight (8) years of human resources work experience; preferably in a federal government setting can be substituted for a college degree 
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Familiar with H.R. software for data management and personnel record keeping  
  • Have discretion with sensitive personal employee information
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Successfully pass a federal background check and drug screen
  • Have an Active Secret Clearance
