SUMMARY

The SharePoint Administrator will support client in development and sustainment of a SharePoint based system. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Works with end users to assess workflow process and design SharePoint architecture.
  • The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for development and implementation of the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration and content management platform.
  • Develop and manage dashboards, web-parts, document libraries, InfoPath forms and applications, and SharePoint lists.
  • Sustainment of SharePoint site, routine maintenance, first-line troubleshooting.
  • Provide workflow support and development, application technical support, content development, and training.
  • Performs standard SharePoint maintenance, including user and group permission structure, as well as support trouble ticket and help line calls as assigned.
  • Troubleshoots all SharePoint questions, issues and problems to determine the situation and potential resolution.
  • Create/Edit custom SharePoint workflows to automate business processes.
  • Create graphics, alter look and feel of pages.
  • Support the development of client-required data reports in SharePoint and Excel.
  • Provide other data management support, as needed.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent and 3 years of development / administration experience with SharePoint.  Intermediate experience with SharePoint website creation and application development, strong experience with writing templates and workflows.  One years of experience working with HTML & CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and MS SharePoint Designer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Query required
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment on a secure federal facility.
