Summary:

CNSP is looking for a SIGINT Engineer-Senior On-Site Lead to support the Army Geospatial Center with technical services for future expeditionary space ground station prototype support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure requirements align with government directives regarding future SIGINT expeditionary ground station objectives
  • Foster productive cross-functional relationships with employees, contractors and 3rd party vendors/entities to ensure customer-focused results
  • Develop plans, analysis, and designs for multipurpose, SIGINT and geospatially enabled systems that support future expeditionary space ground station prototyping
  • Design and construe to the customer implementation strategies that support future expeditionary space ground station systems integrations, with currently operational system architectures
  • Analyze, develop and communicate recommendations to the customer regarding the future design of the system and network architectures, ensuring optimal systems operations assessments during integration and test events
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, document data and process flows, identify resource requirements for primary resources, secondary resources, ancillary systems, personnel, facilities, and communication

 

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will have supervisory or management authority as On-Site Lead

Education and/or Experience:

  • Candidates must be US Citizens
  • Candidates must have an active and current TS/SCI clearance
  • Candidate will be subject to a US federal background investigation and must also favorably pass a drug screen.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and or university related to the position especially in the fields of Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Sciences and/or degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong fundamental systems engineering/analysis skill-sets and competencies.
  • 10-plus years' experience in Systems Engineering and/or Analysis
  • Understanding of GEOINT and SIGINT capabilities
  • Knowledge of Army TENCAP mission/operations
  • Experience in process engineering, improvement, and process workflow
  • Ability to develop and present effective technical presentations
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, graphic / visual diagram editing, geospatial maps and imagery

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT platforms and architectures with the Army
  • Experience working with the Sensor Integrated Profile (SIP) and the DoD Information Technology Standards Registry (DISR)
  • Knowledge of the OGC Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) standards and sensor integration strategies in alignment with the SWE standards

 

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in a secured federal and/or military installation office setting, a controlled office environment as well as working outside in a construction site field environment.
